Our Fairy Tail

Once upon a time....
on the 13th day of October, in the year 2014, a mommy and daddy drove thirty minutes through a storm for the birth of their baby. They did not know if their baby was going to be a boy or a girl.
To their surprise, a princess arrived into their lives at 9:54 p.m. on that Autumn night. (15 mins after making it to the hospital.)

She weighed 8lbs.9oz. and was 20 inches long. Perfectly healthy. With a head full of beautiful black hair, long fingers and blue eyes, the nurses said she was stunning.

Her parents thought she looked just like her brother Sawyer.
The princesses mommy was so surprised when the doctor announced that the baby was a girl. She said, "Are you sure? You better check again because I am confident it's a boy." The nurse put a hat with a bow on her head and handed the princess to the mommy and said softly, "Hold your daughter." So... her mommy held her beautiful daughter for the first time and it was magical. The mommy's heart filled full of love!

Pink gifts began to show up in the hospital room and reality started to sit in... a real live princesses!
 Her daddy was mesmerized!
 Her mommy was elated!

It was love at first sight the first time her brothers laid their eyes on her.
They were both so happy to have a sister enter their worlds.

You can almost hear Sawyer saying it now... "Hi baby! Lyjah, baby, baby, baby!"

 "MmmmMMmmmm"

The biggest brother, Elyjah, was like a practiced man in the first hand off of the princess.
Taking the responsibility of holding both siblings at the same time, made his mommy very proud!

Over thirty hours after she was born...
she finally had a name.
Sailor Atalaya Magnolia Richason
A name fit for a princesses.
Sailor was the name chosen if she would have been a boy. The more her parents said it, the more it seemed just as fitting for their baby girl.
Atalaya is the name of a very old beach castle that her mommy, daddy and brother Ely visited in South Carolina. Her mommy thought it was such a pretty word to say that as they were leaving the castle she said to the daddy, "If we ever have a daughter one day I want to name her Atalaya. We could call her Atty or Laya."
Magnolia was chosen as a second middle name because her mommy thinks that she is as beautiful of a magnolia tree in bloom.
Her parents held her tight...
thanked their lucky stars to have been given a baby girl...
and they lived happily ever after.

The end.
