Sawyer spends many minutes of his day talking about daddy and Lyjah (Elyjah).
"Daddy truck, Lyjah bus." He repeats this over and over while pointing in the direction that he sees Ely go (out the front door) to school and daddy go (out the back door) to work.
Ely doesn't ride the bus but he associated the word school (when I say it to him) with bus. Pretty stinkin' smart for 22 months. I am sure he learned it from Curious George.
Frequently, through the day, Sawyer begins singing, " Daddy, Lyjaaahhhh. Daddddyyy, Lyjah. Truck, Bus, Daddy truck, Lyjah bus." which is adorable when heard in person. I must record it!
I am truly enjoying hearing every word that he picks up on and how he chooses to use those words to communicate.
Sawyer watching daddy leave in his truck.
As he turned around to look at me and say, "daddy, truck." my heart melted.
