"HAPPY...
BIRTHDAY...TO...
ME!
I'm two today!
And life just got a little more exciting!
See what the board says?
I'm adding to it daily. Seriously, not hesitating.
Let's get this party started!
To start the day off right, I talked mom into birthday french toast for breakfast.
Then we went on a tour of the house to capture the mischievous endeavors and uh oh's that I have managed to get by with in the five weeks since Sailor was born.My attempt at drawing straight lines,
the uh oh hole that happened when I opened the closet door just as hard as I shut it,
the pen marks on mommy's newly painted stair case,
yeah I'm pretty proud of this one... they discovered it days after the crime was committed,
and the smudge marks from my hands as I climb these stairs each day. Could be peanut butter. Could be boogers. Could be good old fashioned dirt!
Isn't there a cute poem about the finger prints on the walls and children growing up too quickly? I think I need to play that card right now!
Mamaw and mommy did this...
and something with these...while I did this. I still love this snow man.
Then I did this.
This is what a birthday nap looks like.
And this...
This is what a boy looks like when he is ready to open presents.
Ooooh yeah...bring on the gifts!
Some of my favorite things.
buses, trucks,
tools... a beat (hammer)
eyes (goggles)
traters (tractors)
and my brother Lyjah! Some of my favorite things!
This is what mamaw and my mom were doing with the cake and candy earlier today.
And their it is. Finished and ready for destruction!
Let's just call this section 'Sawyer verses cake!'
I think I won that battle...
Sawyer the Cake Conqueror!
It was a gooooood day!
