Richason Family Vacation 2013 Continued

The Harlem Shake
Wednesday
Just plain crazy I tell you. This is the crew prepping for the Harlem shake video.
This is Luke! Thanks to this die-hard IU fan, almost everyone had an IU shirt to wear during the shake. His suit case was full of them.
Face painting....
...back painting....
...belly painting...
Anything goes at the beach.

I am sure it is much more funny if you know the individuals. I never thought that this is what we would be doing over spring break. But here we are....
Ready, set, shake
VIDEO COMING SOON!

P.S. The most frequently asked question about the video has been,
Q: "How many cocktails/beers were consumed before this took place?"
A: This is just natural Richason family craziness. As far as I know, no one was drinking. I hope I didn't ruin the fun by letting this information out. Maybe it is even funnier knowing that this was a sober family gone wild.

"Heeyyy, your back. So, what did you think about our wild side? You didn't know we had it in us did you? Man we can move. I was kinda worried about 'getting down' in the sand but, Tanner had my back!
Did you hear we made the local news in Destin. That proves our craziness because everything on the news is insain! How's that for hangin' out with your family over spring break?"
"Well, I'm just enjoying the day under this here umbrella. Feeling the ocean breeze, sand in my hands, and my hair.............. and down the back of my diaper.)
"I think I'll just kick off my shoes for a bit. After all, I'm on vacation!"
The annual beach baseball game.

Dan and Jinner watching the game.
Daddy and baby time! Let me tell you, Philly told Sawyer everyday for weeks that he was ready to go to the beach. He couldn't wait to be with him for a whole week! No work! All play! Well, this daddy made sure he lived it up with his son! They had a really wonderful time together.

I would have loved for everyone to have seen these tiny baby feet moving around in the sand! Super sweet!

"There you are again...
"...I am sleepy...."
"....But don't tell my parents..."
....okay?
Thank you."
Well, look what I found. A sleepy pair of beach bums. (Sawyer with Uncle Dan)
"Hey, thanks for keeping the secret. They didn't take me back to the condo for a nap! Got by with that one!"
Cuddle buddies.
It's always fun rationalizing with a three year old. ( Dawn and Thomas) I remember those days very clearly. Wait, what am I saying? I am getting ready to go right back through those days. AGAIN??? Maybe it will be different this time. Who's kidding who? I rationalize with toddlers all day long during work hours. Maybe I should be asking for advise.
Amaya and Giana hangin' at the beach!
Another beach time nap for the littlest one of the bunch.
Tanner (20) lounging in the sun.
Sarah (21) Beach beauty.
Macho man Dan.
Three little beach bums vs. three little bears. Big, medium, and small.
Daddy made his baby a chair in the sand. A few of us hold some hilarious memories of this moment. Hehe.
Until tomorrow.....

Easter Sunday

We arrived home late last night. Finally went to bed around 3:30 this morning. I was so happy when I woke up on Easter Sunday knowing that my mom, dad, and sister had organize everything for a wonderful Easter dinner including an egg hunt! Thank goodness for family!
My sister and her boyfriend, Daniel....
took their time to stuff eggs and put together baskets for the kidos while we were away on vacation.
My sweet mother took the time to dye eggs and decorate them for the kids. Love her so much!! And how much fun are these wacky egg characters?
Papaw couldn't wait to get his hands on Saw after a whole week without him.
Ginormous lollipops!!!

Sweet boy!
Sawyer put every egg in his mouth that he could get his hands on, literally.
This baby ate chicken for dinner. Blahaha
He recieved bibs, a big blue ball, lots of un socks, a sand bucket, and a fluffy chick from the Easter Bunny.
The five of us. Notice that the three kids are looking in different directions... adults looking at camera?
Aunt Krista helping baby hunt eggs.
Oh dear....
they are after.....
the same egg.
Sawyer picked these eggs up himself.
Look at the grip Sawyer has on the purple egg in his right hand. Kinda hard to see in this picture. No kidding, this four month old had a ball picking eggs up. Who knew?
Baby Sawyer's first Easter.
Duckie butt.
What would we do with out these two? Life would not be nearly as fun. Love them!
One, two, three... thirty two... forty eight....
they hid over 100 eggs for two kids and one baby.
Aunt Krista with her confused nephew...bunny or duckie? I think it's a buckie! hehheeee!
Egg count.
It has been a wonderful day! Thank you to my family for making this Easter super special.
Blessings,
Jen
