36 Week

Exactly what does Sawyer understand about the new baby?
Well.... his belly is a baby. hehe

But he know that he wants to kiss my belly and calls it a baby.

And he knows that he loves to see his parents love each other! He always has.
What will these two do when there is suddenly three?
And what will Sawyer do when he suddenly has to share his daddy?
Oh the good Lord only knows.

37 Weeks Today

We had our 36 week check up this morning. However, today marks exactly 37 weeks of incubation! Baby's heart rate was 151 bpm. Everything is going very well. Now to finish up the list of ten million things I want to accomplish before this precious little life gets all of our extra time.

Cross Country Runner

Ely is running Cross Country and loving it!
In fact, he told me that it is his most favorite sport that he has participated in!
Must post pics of most favorite sport ever!

And their off...

here he is finishing 17th at his first race!
All to suffer a horrible asthma attack. Ugh!
Sawyer had a fantastic time watching the big kids run by him.

 It plum wore him out!
Proud of our big guy!!!
Great job Ely.

Baby Name and Gender Poll

We had so much fun watching the votes tally up when we sat up the poll for Sawyer's name. So we decided to do it again. We have not decided on a name yet. We would love help from our family and friends in making this decision.

Go all the way to the VERY BOTTOM of this page. I mean the very bottom. And there you should find our baby gender poll as well as baby name poll. We really have not add many new names since Sawyer. Why so difficult for us to choose a name? We are indecisive! We only have a handful of name that we agree on. If we both do not love it, we throw it out and move on until we agree. However, Oscar is on the list and it still isn't settling in with me as a favorite. Ha!
Thank you so much for your time!
Excited to see which names score the highest tally marks.

35 Weeks (last week)

Feeling great!
Deep cleaning everything I can find to tear into.

First Day of Middle School

A trip to Bob Evans for breakfast, good luck wishes for a wonderful first day of middle school, and he is off to embark on a new, very exciting chapter of his young life!!

Expressing how mature and kind Ely has become could keep me typing for hours. I will just say that we are so very proud to have Ely in our lives! He brings happiness to our family every day!
Happy first day Ely.

Last Morning of Summer Break

Summer time 2014 was spent working on our yard and our home.
It went by too fast.
Last night when I was tucking Ely into bed, he asked if we could go to the park in the morning. He said he wanted to make a special memory on his last morning of summer break, with his little brother. I thought that was most percious thought that a twelve year old could have!
We got up this morning and ate some sugar filled donuts and headed over to Wilson Park.
This boy is starting middle school tomorrow.
And this boy is going to miss him dearly!
These two are truly best buddies!
These very sweet faces....
make my heart melt! Time simply goes by too quickly.
Here is to a great school year ahead!

Building Our Pool

It has been a long hard summer around here. Waiting for our pool to go up so I can swim has tested my patients. That is why I decided to take matters into my own hands and build it my self... with daddy's help.
Phase one complete! It was a good building night with my daddy by my side! I am sure glad is there to help me when I need it. Just wait until you see the fence that he helped me build a few weeks ago.
Love, Sawyer

Blueberry Smile

(Yesterday)
Sawyer loves frozen blueberries!
Mommy and daddy love Sawyer's blueberry smile!

Rain, Rain, Won't You Please Stay?

We are a strange family and we know it.
We do things that others try to steer clear of, like playing in the rain. We spent Monday evening planting flowers in the rain. It was a perfect time to get them in the ground.
Sawyer loves to help with anything and everything we do. He spent some of his time covering himself with mulch which stuck to his wet body very well.
The rest of the evening was spent as you see here in these pics...

I do love watching him be 100% boy!

Big Boy Bed

Sawyer's first sleep in his big boy bed, in his big boy room! Tears of love... so precious.
He is having curious dreams while sleeping on his Curious George pillows.
So loved!
